Tapsie syncs your games between your devices and Apple's iCloud servers. This process occurs automatically between all devices that are signed in with same Apple ID.
To enable syncing ensure that:
All devices are signed in with the same Apple ID
iCloud Drive is enabled on all devices
For more information, see Setting up iCloud Drive on your devices.
The availability and quality of network service can have a significant impact on syncing speed. In general, games will sync within a matter of seconds for devices with reliable, high-quality network service. However, If your devices are connected to a slow, busy or unreliable network then it may take considerably longer for your games to sync.
Tapsie's appearance is controlled by a combination of:
The theme selected for the active game
The default theme specified in the app's settings

In multi-player games for two or more players a card is displayed for each player along with their name and score. It also provides buttons for increasing and decreasing their score.
If a single person or player is tracking the scores for all players then all cards should be oriented toward the person using the device.
Alternatively, if the game's players are each tracking their own scores then the cards can be rotated such that the device can be shared by all players.
Tap the rotate button in the center-bottom of the screen to switch between orientations and choose that which is most appropriate for the players.
The selected orientation is specific to the device and is not synced with your other devices.
It may not always be possible for all players to share a single device. In such situations multiple devices can be used with a single game.
For example, both an iPhone and iPad could be placed at each end of a table, providing scoring access to groups of players. Similarly, the player who created the game could use their Apple Watch to keep their score while providing their iPhone or iPad to the other players.
In such cases Tapsie will merge the changes made by multiple players to keep the game in sync across all devices. Note however that score changes made concurrently by a single player on multiple devices may result in changes being lost: in these situations the last change wins!
Tapsie is limited to eight players per game, but that shouldn't stop you from using multiple games to track the scores for even more players!
For 12 players, for example, you could create 3x four-player games and share them on 3x devices. A different game can be active on each device, so these devices could even all be sharing the same iCloud account.
Likewise, you could track the scores of a four-player game using 2x two-player games on 2x devices if you prefer to have fewer players visible on each device.
A crown symbol is displayed for the highest-ranked player in the game (i.e. the game's winner). If multiple players share the highest rank then a crown is displayed for each.
By default, players are ranked by highest score, i.e. the player with the highest score wins. If preferred, players may alternatively be ranked such that the player with the lowest score is the winner:
Tap the game name in the top-left corner of the screen
Tap the game for which the ranking should be changed
Select Lowest Score for the Player Ranking option in the Scoring section
Player ranking can also be switched off altogether. Select None for the aforementioned Player Ranking option to disable ranking and prevent a crown symbol from being displayed for the winner.
